Just a quick view into my life. Feel free to comment on any of the posts listed here. Hopefully I can come up with some profound thoughts or something (but I doubt it--lol). Yeah, and I'll also try not to be too controversial. Haha. Word.

Christmas Shopping and Birthday Thanks

The last two weeks have been highlighted by Christmas shopping, my birthday, and a quiz meet in Warren.

I'd also like to say thanks to everyone who remembered my birthday in someway (even as simple as wishing me a happy birthday). I was shocked by the out-pouring of gifts from everyone. It is awesome to have such great friends. So, thank you. The Waynesburg crew hooked me up (Nugget specifically) with a free dessert and appetizer at T.G.I. Fridays. I wasn't thinking someone would tell them it was my birthday. Shannon brought a cookie cake to the quiz meet (with candles on it to embarrass me of course, lol). Danielle King (the Ice Princess) made me a card and bought me a Rascal Flatts CD (suggesting I listen to "Skin" and "Bless the Broken Road"). I'll have to carry on a conversation about those two songs when I have a bit more time (I had heard the former before, but not the latter). The closest I had come to country before receiving that CD was Bill Mallonee.

I'll be checking out C.S. Lewis' "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" this weekend at the new theater in Hermitage. Be on the look-out for "End of the Spear" in January 2006--it's a "must-see". I know, you never thought you would hear me suggesting movies to go to! Haha.

I stole some pics from HG's blog of those who ventured to Ross Park Mall on Novemeber 26th. Check them out:

I'm so proud...I never thought I'd see the day that you recommended a movie. Narnia was fabulous, so enjoy it. (I, of course, saw it at midnight on Thursday night/Friday morning. I wouldn't be me if I didn't.)

No fair! I feel like "everyone" has seen that movie at some point this weekend...even my sister who has never been to a movie in her entire life and my friend who spends 98% of his life working & doing various church activities... Well, I've recruited 2 of my girlies, and we're going to see it sometime this coming week (or weekend)... Can't wait to hear your review... Everyone keeps telling me it was awesome... P.S. Rascall Flatts are da bomb...but Lonestar is better! Don't listen to much Country, but I do have a few favorites... One of my girlies likes Eminem, and she always changes my radio station in the car cuz she doesn't like Christian music... Country music is the only compromise!!
