Live from Harrisburg, PA
Well, a three-day, two-night trip out of town for work has landed me in Harrisburg, PA. It's the farthest I ever have to travel while working at MPB (and it's only once a year, so it's really not that bad). Hey, we accountants can use the variety (talk about mixing it up--LOL). I just got back from the Olive Garden and I am completely stuffed. How's come food always tastes better when someone else is paying for it? Haha. JK. I had chicken marsala (I even brought some of it back for a snack later this evening). I think I am going to head over to the exercise room and run some of it off here shortly.
Today while auditing, the fire alarms went off in the building we were in. Turns out there was an actual fire, though, in the basement. I have to admit that I like the area over here. It seems as though there are a lot of things to do over here. The neighborhoods are very nice and I just love downtown Harrisburg. Pennsylvania is simply the best state there is. There was some crazy guy dressed up like a zombie walking around Strawberry Square randomly scaring people who passed by or used the escalator. I forgot it was Halloween today until I saw that. LOL.
I'll have to fill everyone in more about what has been going on in my life when I return home. I wish we were staying longer than just a few days (we'll be driving back tomorrow). With all of the extra hours I got in this week (I get credit for the travel time out and back), I'm taking Friday off. Talk to everyone later.

Welcome to the "other side" of this beautiful state! You are currently located approx. 60 minutes North of my neighborhood; I just came through there last night on my way home from my "Walk". I love it! PA is truly my favorite state! :) If you want to hear the amusing story of how I spent my Halloween night, you'll need to check out my xanga when you have a chance... LOL. Have a safe trip home!

Ok, so apparently people in PA are not as anal about referring to it as a Commonwealth as the people in VA. If you write State instead of Commonwealth on a cover letter, you will definitely not be getting a call back about that job(I learned that the hard way.). I'm glad to see you're expanding your horizons outside of Western PA (truth be told, I was a might worried...lol). But southern VA's weather beats the heck out of 4 months of snow. Talk to me again about how great PA is about mid-February...

Bill, a few weeks ago, you had posted an entry & asked if anyone knew why girls are so much sweeter when they are tired. If you're still curious, I think I've stumbled across your answer & will post it on MY site later today. Peace!

First of all... who says "How's come..." in their blog entry... thats horrible grammer... I hate when people say that, much less write it... haha... second of all PA is not the best state... GAG ME WITH A FREAKIN HAMMER... its cold and yucky and there is nothing to do EVER!! Althoug the people are pretty great ;) And they do have the STEELERS (nice win by the way... only thanks to our defense... I missed Big BEN) But Texas is the best state! I heard that you were in Waynesburg, Shannon-doe and Dani (Ice Princess) both had to inform me that you and I were meant to be together... Exactly what did y'all talk about this weekend?? Sorry I couldn't talk to you on the phone on Saturday... my head was about to explode, when the phone rang I thought that I Was going to die! It even hurt to say HELLO, but thanks for understanding... talk to you later! Peace Out Yo!

I'm bored with this post...you need to write something new. You're never going to finish your book if you only write it as much as you write on here! Hmmm, Olive Garden sounds good...
