Just a quick view into my life. Feel free to comment on any of the posts listed here. Hopefully I can come up with some profound thoughts or something (but I doubt it--lol). Yeah, and I'll also try not to be too controversial. Haha. Word.

Looking Ahead

Well, today is September 8th and it's my dad's birthday.

I've had a cold since the beginning of the week. I think it has something to do with being in the dunking booth on Monday at Buhl Day. The water was dirty! LOL. It was like black by the time I sat on the seat (since I was the last one to go for the day). They put chlorine and stuff in it. I guess it would have helped if the weather was a little warmer too. Couple that with running at night and I have a stuffy nose and cough. I hate being sick in the summer. It is one of those things that just shouldn't happen.

Well, tomorrow night is Pitt vs. Ohio University on ESPN2. We should get a win this week. I don't think I have anything planned for Saturday (the last time that happens for a couple months). Monday is the Bill Mallonee concert in Pittsburgh. Tuesday is a board meeting and Friday/Saturday is a quiz meet at our church. Hopefully our team will be ready.

Hi, it's me again. Sorry to bother you. Yeah, she is absolutely gorgeous. She has a hard time finding good guys at school. Her last serious boyfriend turned out to be a big mistake! He broke her heart, and in fact got married this past weekend. So, she has been taking it slow since then, trying to find a good guy who will really put God first in the relationship. Don't let the distance fool ya, she has told me several times "there is nothing keeping me here after I graduate"!!

BTW- you only get sick by viruses or bacteria, not being in water or running around with wet hair in the cold! :) Take some meds though, you don't want to develop a respiratory infection. Sorry, I am a nurse, and it just sticks with ya.
