Congratulations!!!

Hey Bloggers,
First things first. Congratulations go out to my brother Shawn. He got engaged this past Thursday to Kristin Graham. The couple plans on tying the knot on June 24th of this year. Best wishes to both of them as they plan on spending the rest of their lives together.
What else has been going on with me? I got a raise this year at work. Along with the wage increase, though, comes greater responsibility. The firm wants to start using me in a supervisory role. Word on my CPA license should be coming any time now.
Had quite the experience at last week’s quiz meet: One of our quizzer’s cars went sliding off the road behind us on the way to Meadville. Glad there was a guard rail and friendly people in the house nearby with four wheel drive to help pull it out. The other five of us tried moving the car, but to no avail. I got lit up with mud when we tried to push the car out. We gave it some gas but the tires just spun. It looked like I was the one who was in an accident when we finally arrived at the church. The jacket and clothes can get washed. I’m just thankful no one was injured.
