Just a quick view into my life. Feel free to comment on any of the posts listed here. Hopefully I can come up with some profound thoughts or something (but I doubt it--lol). Yeah, and I'll also try not to be too controversial. Haha. Word.

Another Lunch Time Post

Boy, it looks like I am lucky if I get an entry posted weekly. I need to update my website too. Maybe I'll catch some free time around here shortly. The partner I work for went to Egypt for two weeks (I'm sure someone else will find some work for me to do, though). What do I have on tap? Running in the nice weather and guitar playing tonight. Tomorrow I am helping (along with a few other people from our office) a fellow staff accountant Heather move into her new house after work. The long weekend for Memorial Day will be nice. I hear it is supposed to rain, though.

Well, I will leave you with the following lyrics from Bill Mallonee:

"Make your smile a different way to cry
when the truth that they've been selling you
is just another fine lie.
And the candles on the inside,
they are flickering out
with the things they don't tell you about."

Just Checking In

Well, I've had a bunch of stuff going on recently. Gotta plan a few things in the weeks and months to come (Bachelor Party and a College and Career Event are on my list). Hard to believe my brother is getting married next month. In fact, I have all kind of weddings to go to. Christen Delgros (a girl from my church) is getting married on Saturday. Mike Amos, a friend from GCC, is getting married the day after my brother, while another girl from my church is getting married this summer too.
I finished my Finance Report for the Annual Meeting at church next Sunday. Glad that is done. I am nearing the end of my Leadership Shenango seminars too. We are going on a tour of the Shenango Valley this week. Brad White was in concert last night at our church. He's a great guy. For being a musician, he really laid the Word out there. Gotta love and respect that.
I bowled my best game ever a couple weekends ago (how's that for randomness?). It was a 175. I managed to get that with only two strikes. I had a strike or a spare in every frame but one (kind of crazy when you bowl a nine on the first ball and pick up the spare 4 or 5 frames in a row). I think getting to 200 would be cool (especially since I bowl straight on and don't spin the ball).
The weather has been nice. I am extending the distance I run. Pretty soon I am going to bust out the stopwatch.

Out and About

Hey Bloggers,
Figured I would drop everyone a line as to what I have been up to. OK, just the facts: I was out on an audit for four of the five days this week. Glad that is over with, though. I hung out with some friends who were back from school last night (seems like we hit up Applebee's in Hermitage every time--last night was no exception). I am running down to visit Myer in Pittsburgh this evening. I'm at the library here typing this entry because I had to get a telephone number in order to carpool with a couple guys. Something seems to be wrong with Hotmail, though. Or maybe it's just this ghetto computer, I don't know. Here in the hood, things don't always work out the way you think they should. We can't afford good computers like say *cough* Hermitage *cough, cough*. LOL. Like I have been trying to teach HG: We learn to survive with what we have in Sharon. Which reminds me: that is what our Sunday School lesson is on tomorrow. Living a simple life. I'll have to take a look at that again when I get home because I have to teach. Since tomorrow is Mother's Day, all women Sunday School teachers at our church are having guys take their class for a week. Since simplicity is right down my alley, I guess it should be a fun lesson. Well, I am out. Take care all. Peace.
