About One Month From Freedom...

Well, it's lunch time here at the office and I figured I would just check in with how things are going. I was working on a couple of individual returns today--nothing too bad (an easy way to wind down the week).
What's on tap for next week? Next Monday I plan on dropping in at the Shadow Lounge in Pittsburgh. Never been there before. Never actually heard of it until now. Bill Mallonee--former Vigilantes of Love frontman turned soloist--is making his rounds up north for a show. I haven't seen him live yet, but I am betting his thought-provoking, introspective music will make for a relaxing evening (well, at least that is the plan!). Hopefully I can catch up with my college friend Matthew Myer in Pittsburgh, too. Tuesday is the corporate deadline so we will be filing extensions. Tuesday evening is a board meeting (which is always fun--lol). Wednesday is church. So, it looks as though my evenings are full for the beginning of next week. MPB is giving us Saturday, March 19th off so that they can get one last push out of us up through April 15th.
On a completely different note, I see that our church got an electronic drum set on Wednesday. Maybe Soulscape will be rocking it out this summer. Stay tuned for more info on that. LOL.
Oh, and how could I forget that this Sunday is Selection Sunday? Time for the Panthers to bust some brackets! We are Team Pittsburgh!
